It is reported that Nokia has admitted that due to a defect in Lumia 900 to lead to some early users unable to access the Internet. As we known, Nokia Lumia 900 has been available on sale last Sunday in the United States.
Chris Webber (Chris Weber), the Nokia head of U.S. operations told the
AllThingsD that this issue is related to Lumia 900′s software, but not
irrelevant to memory management problem, hardware problem or AT & T‘s network problem. Weber said that the Internet issue affects only a very limited part of Nokia lumia 900 user.
Chris Webber claimed that Nokia has provided a software update for Nokia
Lumia 900, all the Lumia 900 users can go to AT&T stores to get the
update , or download the software update around April 16. Weber said,
“The new Nokia Lumia 900 currently producted is working with the new
software. These phones have been shipped to AT & T retail stores.”
Nokia said that whether you meet this problem or not, all Lumia 900
users can get a $ 100 coupon. Any consumer can use the coupon to
purchase Lumia 900 before 12PM on April 21. Taking into account the
contract with AT & T, Lumia 900 is priced at just $ 99.99, then in
fact it means that Nokia offers a free new phone for current Lumia 900 users.
